January 10th (new dates added)

Well here we are in another new year and it's been a while since the last update, sorry about that but we've recently moved house which was obviously disruptive and then BT totally messed up our phone line transfer so we were off line for about three weeks and then it was Christmas, so it's been a bit difficult.

Way back in November we did a special charity concert at Cut for the Suffolk Wildlife Trust and Palliative Care. A big thankyou to all of you who turned out, we thoroughly enjoyed the concert and, after The Cut took their expenses etc. we made over £300 for the charites. To add to this I was able to donate through a specail online charity site, with the help of the Wildlife Trust one morning down on Carlton Marshes, which doubled the donation. We got notification shortly afterwards that The Trust had reached it's target to buy more wetland reserve land in the North part of the Waveney Valley. I'd also like to thank Llewellyn for their wonderful contribution to the night.

We had several other good gigs throught November and December culminating in a great new years eve gig at The Framlingham Crown, snow was falling, people dancing, a wonderful way to see in 2010.

We've already done a few gigs in January but, as is often the case at this time of year, we are in a slightly quieter spell. Hope you are coping well in the weather, I'm personally enjoying the snow and cold, we have plenty of birds in the garden and even a couple of deer visiting, it's the sort of weather that makes me want to go outside.

We have many gigs booked in already so we look forward to seeing you somewhere in 2010 whether it's East Anglia, Yorkshire or Kent, or somewhere as yet to be booked.

The cds and book continue to be available in a couple of retail outlets in Lowestoft - The Heritage Centre in the High Street and Scott's Gallery Cafe near the Marina theatre as well as Morlings in London rd South.

I have recently started recording again, this time possibly an album of local based songs, we'll see...

Here are the gigs for the next few weeks, hope to see you there. Remember, gigs are sometimes added at short notice so keep an eye on the gig list

'Well worth buying'. (Essex Folk News)

A paypal link has been added to the discography page so you can buy the new album through this site. Alternatively you can send a cheque to the PO Box. It's a good idea to drop us an email if you order through the PO Box as we don't get a chance to check it as much as we would like. As with all the albums it will be £9.00 which covers the postage and packaging,£8.00 from gigs. There are also some sample tracks on the site and on Myspace.
